sambal.c is a remote root exploit for samba 2.2.x and prior that works against Linux (all distros), FreeBSD (4.x, 5.x), NetBSD (1.x) and OpenBSD. I've test my self on diferent linux distros and all redhat versions are vulnerable <=redhat 9.0 all mandrake <=mandrake 9.0 all debian versins <=Debian 3.0 suse, freeBSD but i didn't test all distros of the last. NetBSD and OpenBSD didn't test. Well this is a verry dangerous tool for system admins be carefull and update the samba. nixus ([Only registered and activated users can see links])
