Erkl�rung Nokia IPSO steht f�r IP Security Operating System. Es stellt ein speziell gesichertes, von Nokia f�r ihre Hardware entwickeltes und vertriebenes, Unix-�hnliches Betriebssystem dar. Nokia meldet nun eine nicht n�her beschriebene Denial of Service-Schwachstelle in IPSO Version bis und mit 3.7, wenn das IP-Clustering aktiviert wurde. Der Fehler wurde in IPSO 3.7 Build 29 behoben.

Expertenmeinung Nokia h�lt sich sehr bedeckt, um was f�r eine Schwachstelle es sich handelt und wie sie ausgenutzt werden k�nnte. Dies k�nnte darauf hindeuten, dass es sich um einen schwerwiegenden und dadurch f�r Nokia peinlichen Fehler handelt, der m�glichst wenig Aufsehen erregen soll. Gerade weil nahezu keine Informationen zum Bug vorhanden sind, f�llt eine Expertenmeinung nat�rlich besonders schwer. Um auf Nummer Sicher zu gehen, sollte das Patchen nicht hinausgez�gert werden.
