perl ftp-server bruteforcer with dictionary-attack First it asks you to enter a HOST and the Port (usually 21) the FTP-Server runs on. Then it sends a ICMP-Ping to this HOST to look if the HOST is online. ( Even when the ping is negative the host can be online, just try it, you'll see ). After that the script asks you if know a valid Username. If you know a Username which is valid, answer with "y". When you done that you have to type in the Username you know. Then the script uses your Username, which you typed in, first and the the others from the list.
